Bible Study

What is Adult Bible Study?

A Bible Study class focuses on the teaching and application of the Word of God to daily living. Our classes are set up for adults college age and up, to meet their special needs.

An Adult Bible Study Class is a group of people committed to know and apply the Word together in a caring fellowship, organized to provide ministry to members, assimilation and outreach - most of our classes are divided by age groupings, so there is a natural bonding and building of relationships.

When do Adult Bible Studies meet?

All adult classes meet at 9:00 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. each Sunday morning.

The reasons for Adult Bible Study:

  • Outreach - Every person, in church or not in church can be a part of some Bible Study. Adult Bible Study has a place for everyone.
  • Bible Study - Our purpose is to lead people into a study of God’s word, and an application of its principles to the activities and relationships of their lives. Teaching involves leading people to explore the message of the Bible, and to discover, apply and assimilate its meaning to their lives.
  • Assimilation (Fellowship, New Members, Greeting) - Adults can get Bible teaching from sermons, tapes, radio, study groups and Bible Study. But the number one reason is fellowship, relationships and getting to know others.

Adult Bible Study Classes take on many different shapes and forms. Classes are designed for Singles, Single Again, Married Couples, Men and Women. All of these classes are formed within the church for mutual encouragement, ministry and outreach. Within this context of love and warmth, members study the Bible. They are what a church is meant to be. Most of our classes have between 25 and 70 members. This size class promotes friendships, mutual ministries and joy. They are organized for friendship, caring and fun. They are a wonderful place for the Word of God to be taught, and strong, life-long relationships developed.
