Parkwood Missionary Prayer Guides

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 "Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

During the Missions Impact Celebration, you had an opportunity to meet several of the missionaries listed in this booklet. As we spoke with these missionaries, we asked what their greatest need is. They responded with one word: "Prayer." It truly is a privilege for us to pray specifically for the needs of those we have begun relationships with. We can intercede for these missionaries, lifting up their personal need and upholding their ministry in prayer.

Thanks for making the time to pray on a consistent basis for these missionaries. The prayers you pray will have an impact in eternity. Our hope is that as we pray for each missionary, we will become even more aware of our own responsibility to "Tell of His Glory Among the Nations."

Pray Consistently

Your prayer schedule is not as important as a consistent plan for prayer. Do not leave it up to chance. Find a plan that works for you and stick to it. Here are two suggested plans:

One-A-Day Plan

Pray for one missionary family on the day of month listed. On months with less than 31 days, pray for the remaining missionaries on the last day of the month.

One-A-Week Plan

This booklet contains different missionaries and their prayer needs. Pray for one missionary family for a whole week.
