Missions Impact Celebration (MIC)

September 17 – 21, 2008

This Wednesday through Sunday, Missions Impact Celebration will put each of us face-to-face with missionaries from across the United States and around the world. You will truly have the opportunity to rub elbows with these missionaries. Our MIC team has been planning this mission event since January. We can hardly wait to see what God has in store for us during these days.

There will be international missionary families with us, for this conference. We will also have North American missionary families represented. All of these missionaries are coming to share what God is doing in their worlds. There will be opportunities for one-on-one conversation, for sharing in groups, and opportunities for us to pray for and with these missionaries. The sharing will include interviews as well as question and answer times with our guests. They will also be sharing their favorite mission story of how God is moving among them.

Here is the schedule for the Mission Impact Celebration:

Wednesday September 17
Worship Celebration (6:30PM, in the Worship Center) – Introduction of missionaries, interview with the missionary conference leaders and message

Thursday – September 18
Mission Dinner (6:30PM, Fellowship Hall) – NC Favorites dinner and sharing of missionary experiences (This is a ticketed event.)

Friday – September 19
Leadership Dinner (6:00PM, meet at Fellowship Hall & go to a local restaurant) – Folks involved: Missionaries, Pastors, Elders & Mission Team

Saturday – September 20
Home Meetings with the missionaries (7:00 – 8:30PM) – Missionaries will be assigned to Adult Bible Study classes; the classes will gather together in homes for a time with the missionaries

Sunday – September 21
Worship Celebrations with the missionaries (9:00 & 10:30AM, in the Worship Center) – The missionaries will also be speaking in assigned Adult Bible Study classes
