:: Ride Your Bike to Church
Every fourth Sunday, all Parkwood members and guests are encouraged to ride their bikes to church. There is designated parking, in the East parking lot, near Garrison Blvd. Our desire is to be "biker friendly," and hope the community notices so they will come join us. After the second service (11:45), we ride to a local restaurant (with some families in cars) and have a great time eating and talking.

 

Carolina Faith Riders

What an exciting ministry to be a part of here at Parkwood.

Carolina Faith Riders is a motorcycle ministry that is purposely evangelistic. This is what attracted us to this particular ministry. There are a lot of motorcycle ministries, but Carolina Faith Riders fits well with the mission purpose of Parkwood. While we love our motorcycles and enjoying riding with fellow Christians, our main focus will be invite people to come and ride with us who normally don't go to church and need to hear the gospel. The motorcycle is more than a vehicle we ride, it is the vehicle we use to get the attention of bikers in our community that we might otherwise not have a opportunity to reach out to.

This ministry is open to anyone, whether you ride a motorcycle or not. You don't even have to own one. Carolina Faith Rider Membership applications are available in the Worship Center Lobby or the Church Office. (Just complete the info and follow the directions.)
