Let me introduce Parkwood Baptist and myself. My name is Jeff Long and I am the Pastor. My wife, Celeste, and my four children-Jacob, Anna, Mary Claire and Andrew, consider it a joy to be a part of a church like Parkwood Baptist.

The evidence of the love of the Lord and for His people is very clear in the midst of the congregation. Beginning with the Charter Members, many who are still a part of the church, a foundation was laid for a church that would center around the hope of the Gospel and the truth of God's Word to form a fellowship to make a difference in the lives of people, the Gaston area, and the rest of the world.

Parkwood is a relatively large congregation. However, through Sunday School, Discipleship Groups, Youth Meetings, AWANA, fellowships and other events the opportunity is there for you to get to know and care for people in a special way.

Not only do I love being the Pastor at Parkwood; I love to be a part of this church. I know you will too, so come to visit and worship with us very soon.
